Founded by Andrew Koh, UFitnessSG began not as a commercial venture, but as a deeply personal commitment to close the gaps Andrew witnessed throughout his years in the fitness industry from large commercial gyms to community and senior-focused settings.

Founder’s Story: From Passion to Purpose
Andrew Koh entered the fitness industry decades ago, beginning his professional journey during the era of California Fitness, where he trained a diverse range of people and eventually became one of the top-performing trainers in Asia.
Yet over time, he observed a growing disconnect:
Fitness was increasingly performance-driven, not health-driven
Seniors and special populations were underserved
Many exercised without understanding safety, adaptation, or longevity
Rather than walk away, Andrew chose to go deeper.
He pursued extensive education in exercise science and ageing-related training, becoming dual-certified under the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the American Council on Exercise (ACE). To strengthen real-world and ethical application, he also completed specialist training, including a Specialist Diploma in Sport Science and Wellness from Republic Polytechnic, with a focus on safe exercise prescription for older adults, frail seniors, and special populations.
Andrew’s philosophy is grounded in a simple belief: fitness must serve real life, not trends, aesthetics, or short-term performance. His work prioritises safety, function, and sustainability, particularly for individuals with no fitness background, those managing age-related decline, and families supporting ageing loved ones.
This philosophy led to the founding of UFitnessSG, a platform dedicated to inclusive, evidence-based fitness delivery. Over time, Andrew also developed AndrewKohSG, a personal advisory platform focused on strategic living in Singapore, where health, ageing, and long-term life planning intersect.
Today, Andrew continues to advocate for responsible, science-led fitness practices that preserve dignity, independence, and quality of life, especially as Singapore’s population ages.
